Taha Tinana: Fitness

 

We did a Taha challenge, and the challenge was Taha Tinana. We had to do a fitness, I did Star Jumps. I was gonna see how many Star Jumps I can do in one minute.

My Myths And Legends Passport

This is my Myths and Legends Passport, on this Passport it shows you what we've done. It's about what Teacher we wen't to on the first or second day, or what country's we have been learning about with all the Teachers in Team 5. We've been learning about America and Paul Bunyan, Blue Mountains and Jamaica, and other Countrys, Myths and Legends. So that is what we've been doing this Week.

Croatia Dragon's Eye Lake Poster

Today with Mrs Tele'a we did a Myth about Dragon's Eye Lake, and talked about how it was created.

JAMAICAN

For this task we did it with Whaea Kelly, and it was all about Jamaica and the Blue Mountain and Blue Mountain Coffee. That was our task with Whaea Kelly.

Cambodian Myth of Lightning, Thunder and Rain. Cambodian Myth.

In our next rotation, we wen't to Mrs Ilaoa. For this rotation we learnt about the city Cambodian, for our first task we had to do a Cambodian Myth of Lighning, Thunder and Rain. The gods names are, Moni Mekhala, Vorachhun and Ream Eyso. Moni Mekhala is the Goddes of the Seas, her Collection Method is a Scarf and her Gift is a Crystal Ball. The next one is Vorachhun, Vorachhun is the Prince manifest of Earth. His Collection Method is the Forest, and his gift is a sward. Next is Ream Eyso, Ream Eyso is the Demon god, his Collection Method is also the Forest, and his Gift is a Ax. 

And this is my Cambodian Myth, there is so many places in Cambodia. Like, Angkor Wat, Prasat Preah Vihear and many more. I hope you leave a comment!

Greek Mythology!

Today we learnt about Greek Mythology, and about the gods. We had to create a poster, my poster is on the last slide.

The Myth Of Hermes

Today for inquiry we learnt about Greek mythology. We learnt about the different Greek gods, the Greek creation story and about Hermes. When Hermes was a baby he invented fire and a lyre (a harp). See my stroy.

A World Of Difference!

Today, 20th of July. This Terms Theme is A World Of Difference, Mr Burt, Mr Sommerville, and Mr Jacobson shared everything about them selves. Team 1 is learning about what people do in other countries, like how they go to School, or what they eat. Next was Team 2, they where looking at New Zealand. (Dora The Explora) Next is Team 3, they did the Amazing Race and travelled around the word. After Team 3 was Team 4, Team 4's Movie was about where there Food came from.

 There learning where different foods come from, like. Sushi comes from China, or... Tacos come from Mexico, or Noodles also comes from China. Many many different foods comes from different Countries, after Team 4 was Team 5. We are learning about The Eel and the girl, we are going to do a animation about it. This is the Theme for Term 2!
